American Leak Detection has a new opening for an experienced Pool Technician/Leak Specialist in Knoxville!
We are looking for an individual with a mechanical mindset and a steadfast nature. Someone with a proven ability to problem solve and persevere through challenges. The ideal candidate has a high standard of professionalism and character, with excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills.
The scope of work will be finding underground hidden water and sewer leaks. A variety of power tools and electronic equipment will be used. This position is required to communicate with customers and write reports. Leak detection will be performed in pools. Training includes underground line tracking, ultrasonic, infrared, and video technologies.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
Valid Driver’s License
Own transportation during training
Basic plumbing requirements
Good DMV record
Must be able to swim
Scuba Certification a plus
Must be capable of lifting and moving 100 pounds
Natural mechanical ability
Neat, professional appearance
Good writing & verbal communication skills
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Starting salary: $15 – $19 during training, based on experience
Pay will increase after training (3-6 months depending on the applicant)
Employer provided company vehicle after 1-2 months
Insurance benefits after 12 months
